Work and learn at the same time

At ISTA,  the training program enables students to spend more than 50 % of the time in a trainee position within a company of their choice. This first work experience often leads to a job opportunity. The program calendar is set up in a way that facilitates the integration of the trainee within the company's team throughout the 2 years at ISTA.

In its 20 years of existence, ISTA has established a long-term and trusted relationship with the key players of the textile industry. They gladly open their doors to our students and are supportive tutors.

During the first two periods the trainee will learn about the company, its teams, its business environment and ways of working. Four longer periods follow, from 3 to 16 weeks, enabling the student to fully immerse him- or herself  in the day-to-day work of the firm and to be truly committed to his or her project within the company's team. In the second year, these trainee periods are naturally intensified.
